How to read the Bible?

There are many ways to read the Bible.

  1. From beginning to end, book by book, as they are arranged in the Bible – sometimes this method can be challenging.
  2. Thematically – reading by studying a specific topic (e.g. baptism – looking for all passages related to baptism) – the danger here is that I will never read some parts of the Bible.
  3. Chronologically – reading the Bible from the oldest parts to the newest; the Bible as a whole is not arranged chronologically, only some parts of it are; the link provides a guide on how to read the Bible chronologically (in some places it is not easy to determine, so in some places it is an estimate). The plan for this reading can be downloaded at the link.
